Website analytics, now with less fuss
How can we make something good work better? Taking your website analytics and building them into your website - no extra websites and no extra passwords needed. Now you can see see the information you need at a glance, removing an unnecessary barrier and saving you time.
How can we make something good work better?
It’s been a few years since we started using Fathom Analytics for website usage statistics. Even before then, you always had to go out of your way to see your analytics, whether that was using Fathom, Google or another system. It was recently brought up that it would be good to be able to see your analytics at a glance, instead of going to another website and needing to log in.
As this seems like such an elegant quality-of-life upgrade, we started work on straight away. After a bit of problem solving, and a few final tweaks, we’ve developed a tool to help display your entire interactive analytics dashboard inside your website - no going to a separate website, no remembering more passwords - just log into the same place that you would normally create your articles and we have an area ready for you to use.
How will this benefit you?
Since website analytics are so important to understanding the benefit people get from your website, this information will help how you shape your content, letting you know where to spend your time wisely.
Whether you just want a quick look at how your latest post is doing, or doing a deep-dive in which areas of your site perform the best, we’ve removed one extra barrier (and as someone who professionally logs into websites for a living, I can safely say that remembering one fewer password is always nice).
Our preferred analytics software
Fathom Analytics is our preferred software over the more well known (but less user-friendly) Google Analytics. Not needing to place cookies on your computer, it’s better for your privacy, without your personal data being sold to the highest bidder. Being more intuitive and interactive, you can check our your website’s stats as much or as little as you like - if you’d like to learn more you can read another of our blog posts, which goes into more detail on Fathom Analytics.
