For 25 years Volute has specialised in building great websites. We produce videos, photography and copywriting to help your website content work better for you. We can also help with digital marketing for both your website as well as social media.
Our Learning Management Systems can be used to train staff and customers as well as in research projects.
We also develop custom online software to help organisations improve their efficiency.

Meet the Team
Tim
Director
Tim is a web designer/developer with more than 25 years experience gained across a wide range of markets including, NHS and healthcare, university research projects, construction, education, and voluntary sectors.
Tim's website work is supported by a team of web developers with specialist programming knowledge and delivery of bespoke content management systems.
James
Director
James leads website and software development at Volute. Having been part of Volute for over 10 years, he's an expert at developing great websites that are accessible, easy to administer and perform well with search engines.
With his work spanning a range of sectors including healthcare and NHS clients, James' experience serves him well in delivering projects on time and in-budget.
Elizabeth
Senior Web Developer
Elizabeth works across a range of our Web Development projects. Her attention to detail is second to none and she is always striving to deliver the very best websites for clients.
A graduate in Web Design and Development from Solent University, Elizabeth is well-versed in modern, responsive development techniques and a key part of the Volute team.
Alex
Senior Web Developer
Alex works as a web developer on content management systems, including the development of custom software and website functionality.
An Aerospace Engineering Graduate from University of Liverpool, Alex is now in his second spell with Volute, having spent a couple of years living in Japan, where he developed a love of tonkotsu ramen and an appreciation of using a functional railway system!
Scott
Associate Design Director
Scott has 25 years experience in graphic design, working as a senior designer at a London creative agency before re-locating in the East Midlands in 2007. He works in the healthcare, architecture, local government, retail and IT sectors.
He has expertise in traditional media (branding, logos, advertising, brochures and flyers) as well as digital/online.
Jo
Associate Design Director
Jo is our creative genius. She has a great deal of experience of styling websites across the NHS and wider healthcare sector, so whenever something particularly special is needed, Jo is our first call.
As she has produced the designs for some of our biggest and best websites, Jo knows how to design a website that both looks great and flows seamlessly.
Katherine
Marketing
Katherine, as a Chartered Marketeer with more than 30 years of experience is responsible for Volute’s marketing. Alongside reaching new clients, Katherine helps to keep in contact with both past and current clients to keep good relations with everyone.
Katherine informs our marketing decisions using our website’s usage statistics and other independent research to guide Volute in the right direction.
Kirstie
Events Manager
Kirstie is our super-organised events manager for our Virtual Venue platform. Having previous experience in running events for various arts and culture organisations she knows how to execute an event from vision through to fruition.
She also has decades of experience working with NHS and other healthcare and public sector organisations and understands their needs and organisational structures meaning she can ensure events run smoothly and everyone is happy with the outcome.
