We were asked to develop a new content managed website for the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) - the country’s leading centre for inter-disciplinary research into mental health, who aim to transform the understanding and treatment of mental illness.
Set up in 2006, the IMH is a partnership between Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and The University of Nottingham. We built the institute’s first website ten years ago, but since then the organisation has grown and grown. We recently created a new website to reflect the changes and give them space to add more new projects in the future.
Challenge
Over the ten years since we created their first website, the Institute of Mental Health had grown, and they had many more projects which they wanted to showcase. Information about these needed to be accessible without the website looking cluttered. They asked us to create a new site which would reflect their current structure. Although they now have an in-house communications team, they needed our expertise to help them create a flexible website design. They particularly wanted to work with an agency who could create a well-designed site which would capture the attention of their audience.
