Why run a virtual event? We’ve summarised 3 reasons our clients here at Volute have been utilising our virtual venue.
There’s no doubt the Covid-19 pandemic has changed the way we work forever, and with that, accelerated the development and use of technology. We’ve been zooming, skyping, jumping on teams, slacking, telegramming, whatsapping and using an avalanche of different digital tools to try and stay connected and continue working.
But more than just connecting and working, what about collaborating, inspiring, sharing and learning?
We teamed up with our creative partners at Touch Design to develop our own virtual venue, a browser-based platform which quickly and easily connects individuals and teams, bringing together webinars, video conferencing, chat forums and online whiteboards all in one place.
With no specialist software needed and nothing to download or install, it’s accessible by all and has everything needed to run an event virtually.
Staff Training
We are trusted by many NHS organisations and understand their need to frequently bring together people from multiple organisations and agencies to collaborate and share experiences in order to improve and inform best practice.
So when the pandemic put an end to face to face contact, we helped our clients deliver training online through our virtual venue. It provides a secure, efficient and effective online meeting space, for webinars, training materials and resources, with everything in one place and all accessed through a web browser. This resolves the common issue of different organisations using different communication platforms and overcomes device restrictions imposed on software downloads.
Awards Ceremonies
Never has there been a better or more important time to thank staff and teams for their efforts. Many annual events unable to take place in person were cancelled or postponed, but the ease and simplicity of using our virtual venue to host an online awards ceremony has allowed people to come together, celebrate and inspire. With the cost savings on venue hire and catering, it’s the ideal space and virtually carbon-free!

Conferences
A virtual conference extends the event’s reach to a wider audience where perhaps previously location and travel have been a barrier.
